In 2006, ABC television selected Jacobs Custom Homes to be a part of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Jacobs Custom Homes built a new 4500 square foot home for the O’Donnell family in Austin, TX and raised approximately $250,000 to pay off their mortgage and other financial commitments. Jacobs Custom Homes also contributed to the purchase of a new car for the O’Donnell family.

Jimmy volunteered to build the new 7500 square foot facility for the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, which opened in November 2007. The Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization that provides needed assistance to abused children and non-offending family members, all of the services are provided free of charge.

Jacobs Custom Homes built two homes, one in 2002 and the other in 2003, for Georgetown families in need through the Georgetown Habitat for Humanity program.
